With more than 100 kilometres of slopes, Erciyes Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Turkey. The slopes at the Tekir, Develi, Hisarcık and Hacılar gates can all be used with a single ski pass.
The Character of Each Gate
- Tekir gate: Wide blue runs and magic carpets; the main base for beginners and families with children.
- Develi gate: Flowing, scenic and usually quieter runs for intermediate skiers.
- Hisarcık gate: Mostly red runs with long descents that test your stamina.
- Hacılar gate: Steep black runs; the adrenaline zone for advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Choosing Equipment for Each Gate
Match the stiffness of your equipment to the terrain: soft, forgiving sets for Tekir, and stiffer sets with steel edges sharpened on our Wintersteiger machines for the steep runs at Hacılar. At Kartal Kayak Evi you pay up to 40% less than at the rental shops at Erciyes Ski Resort and can pick up your equipment the evening before.
